About Cynthia Zhang Jingxingyue

Cynthia currently practices in the Corporate Practice Group also co-leads the firm’s Private Client & Real Estate Practice Group alongside Joint-Managing Partner Mr. Aloysius Wee. Her core practice areas include cross-border investment, family trusts, wealth succession, and real estate planning.

She advises Chinese outbound enterprises and high-net-worth families on bespoke cross-border legal solutions, as well as assisting Singaporean residents and overseas Chinese in handling their legal matters involving China laws. These include estate inheritance, matrimonial property, disputes and corporate matters.

Cynthia was previously practicing law in Beijing, China since 2002. With over 20 years of experience in civil and commercial litigation and arbitration, she has provided legal counsel to more than a hundred domestic and international enterprises and major projects. She has also handled many civil, commercial, and criminal cases in China.

Outside of her legal practice, she is the founder of the WeChat public platform “China-Singapore Legal Insights” (中新法讯), where she has published hundreds of articles on China-Singapore legal and policy matters. Her readership spans professionals from the finance, investment, and legal sectors, as well as high-net-worth individuals. The platform aims to build a knowledge bridge between the legal systems and commercial environments of China and Singapore.

Cynthia is also an active speaker and has presented at numerous seminars in Singapore, China and ASEAN on various topics of law that affect Chinese companies and citizens overseas.
